Agni Dance instructors are passionate and experienced professionals trained in various styles of dance. Their mission is to ensure that each student reaches their full potential as a dancer and as an individual.

Rohit RAMACHANDRAN

Rohit Ramachandran graduated with a distinction in Attakkalari’s Diploma in Movement Arts and Mixed Media, and he has studied & trained in Bharatanatyam, Ballet, and Contemporary dance techniques. Not to forget his hidden power unleashing an epic Bollywood dance class

MEHA NEGANDHI

Meha Negandhi is a trained dancer in different forms like hip hop, kathak ,bollywood and salsa. She has participated in dance reality shows in India like Boogie Woogie and Kuch Kar Dikhana Hai. Her experience in teaching dance is more than a decade, as a choreographer she has taught in 100+ wedding Sangeets and has trained students for dance competitions. She is a part of a dance oriented YouTube channel called Nakhra India which has millions of views and is loved by many.

MARGI MEHTA

Margi Mehta has been a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and currently practices multiple forms of dance such as Bollywood, semi-classical, folk dances and hip-hop fusion. She has been teaching dance across all age groups and skill levels since a little over 4 years now.

VENKATESH ACHARYA

Venkatesh Acharya is a trained bharatanatyam, yakshagana artist who is currently pursuing his inner peace through dance. Even though he is an official choreographer in all his family events, he has been teaching dance for little over five years. He also teaches bollyfit classes and 90s bollywood music is his favorite theme in those classes.

SRUSHTY PRASAD

Srushty Prasad is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She has been teaching classical, semi classical, Bollywood and folk dances from the last 5 years.  She is currently training and practicing various forms of dance such as hip hop, contemporary and kathak. She has been part of numerous professional dance groups over the last decade and has performed at district and state level dance competitions and shows.

NEHA RASTE

Neha is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer for 11 years, completed Arangetram  and continues to learn! She also trains in contemporary, jazz and kathak. She’s also performed for numerous prestigious dance events like IPL opening ceremony and many others. She has been teaching dance with Agni across all age groups and skill levels.

RASHI ANAND

Rashi is a trained dancer with experience in bharatanatyam,  various Bollywood dance styles, ballet, contemporary/ modern, jazz, hip-hop, gymnastics, and tap. She’s been dancing since the age of 7 and has been picked as a contestant for Dance India Dance, but couldn’t participate due to outside obligations. She is passionate about learning various dance styles, teaching and educating, and healing dancers as a Doctor Physical Therapist.

KENYA LEWIS

Kenya Lewis is a uniquely skilled dancer. She has been trained in Hip hop and Jazz dance along with stepping. She has also been apart of two competing Bhangra dance teams in California and currently enjoys expanding and teaching Bollywood fusion, sensual movement, Salsa/bachata and Bhangra. She has been teaching formally for one year.

SOHAM DONWALKAR

Soham's prowess is his dance style which are locking, popping, robotics and Bollywood. He has been a title holder in intra college and corporate dance competitions and has choreographed wedding sangeets and hosted dance workshops for local schools in Austin as part of Agni. He has been an instructor at Agni for more than a year and has had the privilege to perform in presence of Smt. Padmini Kolhapure ma'am representing Agni Dance.

Sharmili Sitharthan

Sharmili is a trained dancer in various dance styles such as Bollywood, semi-classical, South Indian folk (Kuthu), Bollyhop, and contemporary. She loves exploring and learning new dance styles such as Salsa & Kizomba. She got trained in contemporary, street-jazz, and Bollysass styles during the pandemic with Shiamak, and Swarali from Bollyheels, Boston Bollywood via different workshops and classes. She has been teaching all her life and dancing with different professional dance groups such as Boston Bollywood & ABCD dance school. she is the founder and choreographer of her performance group, Muqabala dancers. She has performed in a prestigious Asian festival event representing India in Salt lake city with her team, which was broadcasted on a local tv channel and published in the newspaper. Also, she has won a couple of dance competitions with her team in Boston.

ASHWINI PARADKAR

Ashwini Paradkar is a trained dancer in diverse dance forms. She has a Senior Diploma in Kathak and has trained in multiple styles like contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop. She trained in Shiamak SPB for 4 years and has trained in numerous workshops/courses, globally. She has choreographed dances all her life for school events, weddings, family functions, stage productions and also performed in prestigious events like COP-11 UN Climate Change Conference Opening Ceremony.
